KU awareness programme on NAAC accreditation

The Kakatiya University IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) is organising a two-day awareness programme on NAAC accreditation for all degree and post-graduate colleges under Kakatiya and Satavahana Universities on March 13 and 14.

Importance

The IQAC Coordinator Prof. Khaja Althaf Hussain said that the aim of the programme was to create awareness among all managements of educational institutions about the importance of accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The programme would enlighten the necessity, benefits of accreditation in terms of enhancement of quality and standards of education. It would give an insight for the institutions to assess their performance vis-a -vis set parameters through introspection. There would be lectures by experts.

M.S. Shyamasundar, Advisor, NAAC, Bengaluru would be the chief guest at the inauguration of the programme on March 13 and TSCHE Chairman Prof. T. Papi Reddy would participate as guest of honour. The programme was being organised under National Quality Renaissance Initiative (NQRI) of NAAC and sponsored by NAAC.
