Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will be arriving in Hanamkonda around 6 p.m. on Saturday. He will stay at the residence of TRS senior leader V. Laxmikantha Rao.

On Sunday, the Chief Minister will leave at 10.30 a.m. to undertake an aerial survey of Devadula, Kanthanapalli, Ichampalli projects sites at Eturunagaram and Karimnagar district.

He will then proceed to Kaleswaram in Karimnagar district.

He will return to the district from Manuguru in Khammam district after laying foundation stone for a power project.

According to his tour schedule , he would come by road via Mahabubabad and Narasmpet to Hanamkonda by 6 p.m. on Saturday.

It was said the Chief Minister will land at Devadula and Kanthanapalli project sites to interact with the villagers.

The district Collector, Vakati Karuna, said that no meeting was scheduled in Warangal. Yet, the district administration alerted officials of various departments to be prepared with the data pertaining to their respective wings in case a review meeting would be held by the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister is likely to meet select officials to seek information on the progress of Devadula and Kanthanapally projects, Mission Kakatiya, Haritha Haram, land for the SCs schemes and distribution of Food Security Cards. He may also seek information on housing programme for slum-dwellers.

In January, he camped in Warangal for four days and laid the foundation for construction of houses under G+1 model for the benefit of the slum-dwellers.

Though the foundation for the Kanthanapally was laid in 2009 by the then Chief Minister Y.S. Rajashekara Reddy, sufficient funds were not allocated for it. Meanwhile, land acquisition for the project was yet to begin, as the locals were opposing the project.
