CPI (M), State secretary, Tammineni Veerabadhram accused Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao of neglecting the farmers. He along with party district secretary, Julakanti Ranga Reddy and others visited drought hit areas in Thipparthy mandal on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the CPI (M) secretary said that the Chief Minister was showing more interest in increasing the salaries of MLAs, constructing houses for bureaucrats, but he lacked enthusiasm in helping poor farmers. Urging the government to declare all mandals in the district drought-hit, Mr.Veerabadhram pointed out that State government had failed to initiate proper measures in supporting the farmers in the time of crisis.
