KCR least bothered about HC bifurcation: Madhu Yaskhi

July 18, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:59 am IST - NIZAMABAD:

AICC official spokesperson and former MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud has accused the Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and his party MPs of whiling away time when people were facing problems with lawyers boycotting courts demanding bifurcation of the High Court.

Expressing solidarity with the lawyers’ agitation, he advised them to question the Chief Minister as to what they did after the formation of the Telangana State. Stating that there was no need of a separate legislation in the Parliament for establishment of High Court for Andhra Pradesh, he clarified that the provision was enshrined in detail for the purpose in the AP Reorganisation Act.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Mr. Madhu Goud wondered why the Chief Minister did not take up the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his current visit to New Delhi.

Later, he participated in the relay hunger strike of all the parties on the issue of closure of railway gate at Ganj and demanded its immediate reopening in the larger interest of people.
