The Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) district unit will organise a “Kavi Sammelan” here on July 9 as a prelude to the jayanti of renowned poet, writer and freedom fighter Dasarathi Krishnamacharyulu on July 22.
The Kavi Sammelan will be organised in coordination with various literary associations as part of “Sahithi Vignanotsavam” to pay rich tributes to Dasarathi, the legendary literary personality, at the Zilla Parishad conference hall at 4 pm on Sunday, according to a release here.
The Dasarathi Jayanti will be celebrated in a befitting manner by organising a meeting here on July 22.
