Collector Neetu Prasad on Tuesday made a whirlwind tour of the town and inspected several institutions. She inspected Sishu Gruha (government-run orphanage), where the orphans were branded with hot ladle last April, and spent time with the children. She also inquired with the inmates about the food and facilities provided to them. She gave strict instructions to the employees running the orphanage to provide necessary care to the orphans.

She also visited the District Central Library in the town and interacted with the students who were preparing for various competitive examinations. When the librarian B Shankuntala asked for a projector and some chairs, the Collector assured her that they would be provided at the earliest.

She also inspected the Collectorate auditorium being refurbished by NTPC Ramagundam authorities under the CSR programme. The Collector also visited Bala Bhavan in front of RTC bus station complex and inquired about facilities.
