Jawan’s body to be brought to native village

The body of Indian Army Jawan, 28-year-old Ananthula Lingaiah Goud, who died in Panagarh base camp of Army near Durgapur in West Bengal State will be brought to his native village of Tadakamalla located near Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district on Monday at midnight.

His kin told The Hindu that the last rites will be performed on Tuesday morning.

The reasons behind Lingaiah’s death were not known yet. Lingaiah’s marriage was scheduled to be held on May 22 in his village. Mr.Goud said, Lingaiah went to base camp on April 30 for applying leave for his marriage.

He found dead in his room on Sunday morning. The army officials have made arrangements to bring the body to Tadakamalla in their vehicle after getting it to Hyderabad by flight.
