‘Janashakthi’ posters create flutter in Karimnagar

May 15, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:56 am IST - KARIMNAGAR:

Mild commotion prevailed in the district with the appearance of wall posters allegedly in the name of Janashakthi naxalites in Peddalingapur and Ramojipeta villages of the Illanthakunta mandal on Saturday.

Local dispute

Police sources said that some former Janashakthi naxalites suspected to be involved in a local dispute in the village have put up the posters warning two persons of serious action in the “praja court” if they do not mend their ways and refrain from acting as police informers.

However the police maintain that the writing in the name of naxalites of Adilabad State committee and other reasons itself show that some mischievous elements are at work.

They also said that “we have collected all the information about the suspected persons and would soon arrest them”.
