Pilot project to be taken up in Choppadandi mandal of Karimnagar district

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has decided to promote integrated farming system (IFS) to double farmers’ income under its umbrella programme on national resource management (UPNRM) in Choppadandi mandal of Karimnagar district. In a press note here on Sunday, NABARD assistant general manager R. Ravi Babu said the integrated farming system would be taken up in Choppadandi mandal on a pilot basis, covering about 150 small and marginal households at a cost of Rs. 2 crore.s
