House pattas handed over

Local legislator Chinta Prabhakar called upon beneficiaries to use the houses allotted by the government for their benefit.

Handing over pattas of houses constructed under the Integrated Houses for Slum Development Programme (IHSDP) held at the Collectorate on Monday, Mr. Prabhakar said that 432 houses were taken up under the scheme, and out of which 168 were completed and handed over to the beneficiaries.

Basic facilities

He said Rs. 25 lakh was spent on providing basic facilities like water supply, sanitation and drainage. Municipal chairman B. Vijaya Lakshmi, DRO Dayanand, and housing project director Venkateswara Rao were present.
