Harish inaugurates video wall in Siddipet

Traffic CCTV cameras linked to ‘wall’

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said there will be regular monitoring with command and control video wall that was established in the district headquarters town here.

Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the video wall on Sunday, Mr. Harish Rao said that all CCTV cameras, traffic signals and blinkers were connected to the command control centre and this would be helpful in checking the crime.

The Minister also inaugurated the Rapid Cop System and Lake Police System at Komati Cheruvu along with N. Shivashankar Reddy, DIG, Nizamabad Range.

“Rapid Cop uses the modern technology with global positioning system (GPS) and it would be easy to depute the closest police vehicle to the spot of any incident within no time,” said Mr. Harish Rao.

Lok Sabha Member K. Prabhakar Reddy, Chief Whip P. Sudhakar Reddy, MLC Farooq Hussain, Commissioner of Police Siva Kumar, Municipal Chairman K. Rajanarsu and others participated in the programme.
