Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender has called upon people to protect the TSRTC from losses by using its services as public property.

The Minister along with TSRTC chairman S Satyanarayana, ZP chairperson Tula Uma, MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao and Mayor S Ravinder Singh also inspected the RTC bus station complex on Tuesday.

In a chat with newsmen, the Minister said that the State government was taking all steps to protect the RTC from losses and provide better services to the commuters. He also called upon the legislators and MLCs to allocate at Rs 10 crore to the TSRTC from their constituency development fund for the development of RTC. He also informed the RTC authorities to maintain punctuality in the operation of buses and proper sanitation in the buses and also at bus stations.
