A tractor driver and a labourer were killed in a road accident near Buruguda in Asifabad mandal late on Saturday night while another labourer received injuries.
An oncoming tipper collided with the tractor claiming the lives of labourer Alakunta Poshaiah, aged 43 and Jhatpat Chandraiah, the driver aged 30, both residents of Samela in Wankidi mandal.
A. Srinivas is being treated for injuries in Asifabad hospital.
In Nalgonda
Nalgonda Staff Reporter adds: Two people were killed in a road accident on NH-163 near Alair in the early hours of Sunday.
According to police, a lorry coming from Warangal to Hyderabad and a DCM vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction had a head on collision.
The driver and cleaner of DCM vehicle Vamshi Reddy (28) and Parameshwar (32) died on the spot.
The driver of the lorry also sustained serious injuries whom the locals have rushed to Bhongir area hospital, the police said.
A case has been registered.
Five hurt in Mulug
Sangareddy Staff Reporter adds: Five persons have been injured in a road accident that took place at Mulugu in the morning hour of Sunday. According to sources, a car coming to Hyderabad from Karimnagar hit a road divider resulting in the accident.
Locals admitted them in hospital and all of then are stated to be out of danger, the sources added.
