TS Govt to lay foundation stone for Banjara Bhavan and Kumaram Bheem buildings on December 11

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will lay on December 11 foundation stone for Banjara and Kumaram Bheem Bhavans that he sanctioned yesterday for Scheduled Tribes on Road No. 10 of Banjara Hills here.

Incidentally, Mr. Rao decided to sanction one more building for Scheduled Castes at the same site today. It will be named after Babu Jagjivan Ram. The stone for this bhavan will also be laid on the same day.

A release said Mr. Rao signed the file releasing Rs two-and-a-half crore each for the bhavans.

Separately, he handed over a cheque for Rs 20 lakh to the widow of a sarpanch Puppala Tirupataiah who was killed in a clash by rivals shortly after his election at Tippareddypalli village of Vangoor mandal in Mahbubnagar district.
