Civil works for KTPSset to gain pace

Civil works for switchyard, main power house and other vital components of the proposed unit 12 of Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS) in Palvancha are set to gain pace ahead of the ensuing rainy season.

The Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO) has shifted focus on speedy completion of the civil works of the new unit designed to augment power generation in the KTPS’s expansion project (Stage VII). As per the original schedule, the new unit has to be constructed in a span of 36 months, sources said.
