A major fire accident broke out at Srini Pharmaceutical Industry, Choutuppal in Nalgonda district here on Monday evening after a blast in one of the reactor in the C-Block of pharma industry.
After the massive blast sound, the chemical industry was seen engulfed in smokes. Within minutes, the smokes turned in to a flame.
The company is owned by TRS leader Tera Chinnapa Reddy, who is also the party candidate in Nalgonda local body MLC election.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot from various places in the district.
The fire-fighters took about three hours to put off the fire.
Luckily, no human loss was reported in the accident. Though the management told the police that none of their workers were injured in the incident, the locals alleged that the management had rushed some of the injured to a hospital in Hyderabad.
The escaped workers said that as many as 14 workers were working in C Block when the incident took place.
They rushed to the safety within seconds after seeing smokes emanating from the reactor.

The workers further said that they could save their lives since they have expected a blast after noticing the smoke emanating from the reactor.
Within minutes after they came out of the C-Block, the reactor went up in flames.
The loss was yet to be assessed.
A case was registered.
