Escalators not operational

April 19, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:36 am IST

I recently went to Secunderabad Railway station to see off and receive my mother at platforms 3 and 5 but the escalators here were not operational.

This caused inconvenience to my mother who is a senior citizen and I wish to know whether there are any restrictions/timings for the operation of these escalators?

Sorry state of affairs

at Gandhi Hospital

I visited Gandhi Hospital to see my cousin who underwent an operation last week. Here, only one lift was working and a good number of visitors were waiting for their turn to get in. Also, two mobile phones of my cousin and his attendant brother went missing on the night that they were asleep. This is the state of affairs at the prestigious hospital.

Debris not removed from road

One side of the road at Boduppal was dug up for some pipeline work more than six months back but the authorities have not done any proper road repairs. Recently, a small portion of the road was laid but the debris has not been removed since the last one month. I request the authorities concerned to take up the issue as early as possible as many heavy vehicles ply on these roads and the condition of the road worsens on rainy days.
