EAMCET: TS students rush to AP

Engineering and medical seat aspirants from Osmania University region in Telangana are increasingly applying for AP’s Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test 2016 scheduled to be held on April 29 across 25 centres in A.P. and Telangana.

So far 2,92,322 candidates from A.P., Telangana and other States have applied to appear for the examination for admission into engineering, medical and other technical courses, according to AP Eamcet convenor Dr. Ch Sai Babu. Last year, 2,55,412 aspirants applied and 2,43,524 appeared at the examination.

The increase in the number of applications this year from Hyderabad is 47.25 per cent.

Applicants can download hall tickets from April 21 to April 27 fromwww.apeamcet.org.
