Devotees throng Cheruvugattu to witness celestial wedding

The celestial wedding of the presiding deity at Sri Parvati Jedala Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple, Cheruvugattu of Narketpally mandal was performed with religious fervour and grandeur in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Kalyanamahotsavam

As huge number of devotees from across the State have thronged the temple since Monday night to witness the annual kalyanamahotsavm of most revered God in these parts of district.

Holy dip

The devotees took a holy dip in temple Pushkarani before proceeding towards the sanctum sanctorum to offer prayers.

Hectic activity

Carrying the religious wooden chappals, on their back, the devotees made Pradakshanams around the Dwajasthambam located on the premises of temple. That was considered a unique way of offering prayers to the deity.

There was hectic activity on the hill shrine throughout the day due to increased influx of devotees.

A sea of devotees also witnessed the procession of presiding during the small hours of day.
