Vemanpalli police on Wednesday registered a criminal case against N. Srikanth, the operator of a MeeSeva centre in Adilabad district, for misusing the utility. According to Vemanpalli Tahsildar Bandari Ramesh Goud, the accused had tried to change the date of birth of an applicant in relevant documents without the concurrence or knowledge of the authorities.

Mancherial RDO Ayesha Khanam crosschecked the alleged misuse of the utility and found it to be correct.
