Adilabad Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi on Saturday asked police officials to create awareness on cyber crimes among general public. He said police should create awareness among people from rural areas while on their visit to villages on the withdrawal of money from ATMs by fraudsters. Addressing police officers at a meeting here, the SP asked them to look into the rising incidence of fraud phone calls to unsuspecting people seeking their bank account details, especially serial number and other details of ATM cards. He said people should not trust any unknown person who asks for details of their ATM cards.
