A police constable, who had been drafted for bandobast duty in the bypoll bound Palair Assembly constituency, died of heart attack in Tirumalayapalem mandal headquarters in the small hours of Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Islavath Keshav Ram, a constable of Damaragidda police station in Mahabubnagar district. Sources said that Keshav Ram reportedly died following massive heart attack in a private school building where the police personnel on poll duty had been provided accommodation. His retirement is due in November this year, sources added. The police officials paid their last respects to the deceased cop on Sunday morning. His body has been sent to his native place in Mahabubnagar district.
