‘Consumer awareness must among students’

(CATCO) chairman N. Srinivas has called upon the headmasters of government schools to take measures for the constitution of consumer clubs in the schools as a social responsibility.

Delivering a lecture on consumer awareness to the headmasters during the three-day orientation programme for the headmasters at Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions on the outskirts of Karimnagar on Wednesday, he said that the headmasters have greater role in the formation of consumer clubs in the educational institutions and empowerment of students. He said that the headmasters should ensure that the students should know about the consumer rights from their childhood.
