Narayanakhed Congress MLA P. Krishna Reddy dead

Kista Reddy was the Public Accounts Committee Chairman of the Telangana Assembly. He was elected to the Assembly from Narayanakhed constituency four times.

Congress MLA from Narayanakhed in Medak District Patlolla Krishna Reddy, who is popularly known as Kista Reddy died of a massive heart stroke while in the sleep early on Tuesday. He was 67.

He did not wake up even after repeated attempts of his family members and personal aides in the morning at his Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar here. He was rushed to KIMS Hospital immediately, where the doctors declared him brought dead. The doctors who examined him told his family members that he died in the sleep following a massive stroke.

Kista Reddy was the Public Accounts Committee Chairman of the Telangana Assembly. He was elected to the Assembly from Narayanakhed constituency four times including in 1989, 1999, 2009 and 2014.

Hailing from Panchagama village of Narayanakhed mandal he studied up to HSC at Narayanakhed itself and did his B.A. in public administration from Nizam College here and LLB from Osmania University. Starting career as a junior lawyer here he went on to become public prosecutor at the District Courts in Sangareddy.

Kista Reddy started his political career as a sarpanch of his village and was later elected Panchayat Samithi President of Narayanakhed in 1981. He is survived by four sons.

Ministers T. Harish Rao, T. Srinivas Yadav, CLP Leader K. Jana Reddy, Deputy Leader Dr J. Geetha Reddy and a host of other elected representatives paid tributes to Kista Reddy by visiting the KIMS.
