10,000 farmers from north Telangana to attend the meeting

Elaborate arrangements have been made for the Farmers Coordination Committee (FCC) convention which would be attended by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, at the Ambedkar stadium in Karimnagar town on Monday.

Around 10,000 farmers from all the 16 districts of north Telangana region would be attending the meeting which would be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, with his inaugural address. After lunch, the CM would have an interactive session with the farmers and seek suggestions on the proper function of FCCs and other issues pertaining to agriculture.

Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Eatala Rajender, MP B. Vinod Kumar, Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad and others inspected the arrangements at the Ambedkar stadium, parking of vehicles, lunch arrangements etc. The Collector said that the VIPs would be allowed from Gate number 2 into the stadium and their parking would be allowed in front of the Legend school ground, the district officials and media would be allowed from Gate number 1. Similarly, the farmers would be allowed into the stadium from Gate number 6, 7 and 8.

The district police machinery is also making unprecedented security arrangements. Additional police forces have been deployed at the stadium and in the entire Karimnagar town. The Chief Minister would arrive in helicopter at 10.30 am and after completion of the meeting would make a night halt at the Telangana bhavan at Teegalaguttapalli on the outskirts of Karimnagar. On Tuesday, the CM would proceed to Adilabad district to participate in various programmes.
