Chairs worth Rs.47,000 donated

State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) Nelakondapally branch, in association with the bank’s Khammam regional office, donated 100 plastic chairs worth Rs.47,000 to Sri Bhakta Ramadasa Dhyana Mandiram at Nelakondapally.

According to a press release, SBH AGM G. Krishna Mohan handed over the chairs to the organisers of the Dhyana Mandiram at a meeting held in Nelakondapally on Sunday.

SBH Nelakondapally branch manager N. Manikumar, Bhakta Ramadasa Vidwat Kalapeetam president Sadhu Radha Krishna Murthy and others were present.

A classical vocal music concert was organised on the premises of the mandiram on the occasion. Tumalapalli Bharani of Khammam town presented a splendid concert much to the delight of classical music lovers. She commenced her concert with ‘Sri Vigna Rajam Bhaje’ and concluded with mangalam – ‘Ramachandraya janaka rajaja manoharaya’ leaving the audience spellbound.

Collector I Srinivas Sri Naresh visited the Dhyana Mandiram at Nelakondapally later in the day.
