The measures to be taken for the smooth conduct of the ensuing Sri Sita Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam on the occasion of Sri Ramanavami festival on March 28 were discussed in detail at a high level meeting held in Bhadrachalam on Tuesday.
Collector K Ilambarithi presided over the meeting held at Chitrakuta Mandapam in the temple town.
The meeting chalked out department-wise arrangements for organising the festivities on a grand scale in the temple town next month.
The meeting reviewed the preparations for provision of drinking water, sanitation, first-aid and other amenities to the devotees during the ensuing festivities.
It dwelt on the crowd management plans and security arrangements keeping in view Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s expected visit to the temple town to participate in the Kalyana Mahotsavam on March 28, according to official sources.
The Collector called upon the officials of the Revenue, Endowments, Police, and other allied government departments to work in tandem for the successful conduct of the festivities.
He wanted the officials to replace the existing streetlights with LED lights and set up a drinking water plant in the temple town.
