June 20, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:35 am IST

Two celestial phenomena ‘Moon in Conjunction with Venus’ and ‘Moon in Conjunction with Jupiter’, the celestial get-together of Moon with Venus and Moon with Jupiter respectively, will occur on June 20 and 21. According to a press release issued by the Planetary Society-India on Friday, those looking west after sunset on June 20, can spot Venus below crescent Moon and Jupiter above crescent Moon.

Due to this celestial alignment of Moon, Venus and Jupiter, the three would form a skewed ‘smiley face’, the press release added.
