Cash reward to home guard

Adilabad Superintendent of Police Vikram Jeet Duggal on Friday handed over a cash reward of Rs. 5,000 to home guard P. Vijay Kumar for his honesty. The latter had safely returned eight tola gold and other important papers found in Basar Saraswati temple on June 21 to its owner.

A woman from Nizamabad had misplaced the bag containing the gold near the north entrance of the famous temple. Mr. Kumar, who was deployed at the place, found the bag and handed it over to Basar SI Narsing, who located the rightful owner and returned the same.
