Busy day for KCR in Singapore

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao spent a busy day on his arrival in Singapore on Wednesday. Mr. Rao and his entourage reached Singapore around 6 am, after which they were driven to Ritz Carlton hotel where they were accorded a warm welcome by NRIs from Telangana.

Later, they visited the office of Jurong Town Corporation, industrial property developer for high-tech business space, and the stadium where he will address the seminar of the alumnus of Indian Institute of Management. The Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loopn will participate in the seminar.

On Thursday, Mr. Rao is scheduled to meet the Indian High Commissioner and Singapore Foreign Affairs Minister. He will also interact with representatives of Singapore Chambers of Commerce to explain the proposed industrial policy of Telangana. He will address the seminar on Friday and leave for Kuala Lumpur by road the next day to study urban development plans in Malaysia. Mr. Rao will return to the city on Sunday night.
