A book titled “Vijay Tendulkar-The Playwright and champion of Social Justice” authored by research scholar Vani Devulapally was released here on Wednesday by Sumita Roy of Osmania University.
Professor Roy appreciated the efforts of Vani and advised her to continue her avocation. The professor wanted the scholar to make an attempt to write a ‘cultural autobiography’ of her family. At a function held at Vagdevi college auditorium, M Rajagopala Chary congratulated the student on bringing out the book.
KU Department of English senior faculty K Purushottam, Mr Krishnaiah of Osmania University and others were present. Author Vani thanked her guide Prof Chary and other staff at the department for their cooperation and encouragement.
