The Sadashaya Foundation in Godavarikhani organised an awareness programme on the importance of organ donation for the students of Satavahana University PG College here on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the foundation conducted T. Ashok Kumar Memorial Elocution Competition on ‘cadaver donation’, as he was the inspiration for launching the campaign on organ donation in the district.
The organisers distributed prizes and certificates to the participants. Foundation leader T. Shravan Kumar, A. Linga Murthy, Kailasam, college principal G. Ramesh Reddy and others were also present.
