Anti-party work will not be tolerated: Ponnala

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Tuesday said party leaders, who violated discipline, indulged in anti-party activities and conspired to defeat official candidates would not be spared.

Addressing a review meeting of the Congress leaders from Nizamabad at Gandhi Bhavan here, the TPCC chief said disciplinary action would be initiated against them immediately. Mr. Lakshmaiah said that the review meetings of all districts would be completed shortly and an action plan would be drawn to strengthen the party. The meeting was attended by Deputy Leader in Council Md. Ali Shabbir, former MPs – Madhu Yaskhi and Suresh Shetkar, former Speaker K.R.Suresh Reddy, Telangana Mahila Congress president Akula Lalitha, DCC chief Taher Bin Hamdan, former Minister S.Santosh Reddy and others.
