Andhra Bank opens branch in Yellareddy town

Andhra Bank has opened its 36th branch at the Ambedkar Chowrasta in Yellareddy town of the district taking the total number of branches to 73 in the bank zone comprising the district and Medak.

Opening the branch Zonal Managar, Mallikarjun said that three more branches one each at Pedda Shankarampet in Medak and Morthad and Velpur in the district would be opened shortly.

He said the bank had done the business to the extent of Rs.3,900 crore in the zone in the current financial year and of which Rs.2,000 crore advances were given and Rs.1,900 crore deposits collected. The bank had given a top priority to primary sector and sanctioned Rs.850 crore loans to it and Rs.1625 crore to small scale industries, said the Zonal Manager.

Assistant General Manager Sudhakarudu was also present.
