Action plan to develop Vemulawada temple

Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam authorities have prepared an action plan for the development of the ancient temple shrine at Vemulawada with an estimated Rs. 250 crore.

Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar along with Vemulawada legislator Ch Ramesh Babu held a review meeting with temple chairman D Rajeshwar and other officials on Sunday and chalked out proposals for the development of the shrine.

Accordingly, the MP had proposed the protection of ancient structures from Thippapur grama panchayat bridge to the main temple shrine and he suggested laying of a ring road for the benefit of vehicles to reach the temple shrine. Favouring the use of LMD waters in the temple tank, he suggested constitution of sanitation wing for the cleaning of the temple tank regularly. He also proposed construction of huge Shiva Lingam in the middle of

the holy tank at the temple shrine and musical water fountain.
