The NTPC Ramagundam Executive Officers Association has urged Executive Director R.K. Srivatsava to take necessary action
against the NTPC hospital staff for the alleged negligence in discharging their duties resulting in the death of an officer recently.
The association leaders led by GV Rao, Nageshwara Rao, Balramreddy and others met Mr. Srivatsava to in his chambers and submitted a memorandum on Tuesday. They alleged that officer Ravinandan Roy, who met with a road accident, succumbed to the injuries due to negligence on the part of medical fraternity of the hospital. Alleging that the NTPC hospital staff had failed to provide proper treatment to the officer, the association demanded stern action against the errant medical staff. The ED had assured to constitute a committee with officers and a doctor of NTPC hospital to conduct inquiry and submit a report.
