Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel said he would suggest Prime Minister Narendra Modi to construct houses across the country following the model of double bedroom houses at Erravalli and Narsannapet in Siddiept district.

Mr. Goel visited the double bedroom houses at both the villages and interacted with people residing there. “I met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad on Wednesday and he requested me to visit these villages. The construction of houses is excellent and I suggest the Prime Minister to examine these models so that they can be replicated across the nation,” said Mr. Goel while addressing the villagers at Erravalli.

Stating that Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao supported the demonetisation move, the Union Minister said the Chief Minister has been making efforts to encourage cashless transaction in more villages. He was also impressed with the cleanliness and green cover at both the villages.

Collector P. Venkataram Reddy explained him the construction process, cooperation from the public and how team work resulted in the scheme being a success.

Medak Lok Sabha member K. Prabhakar Reddy, Chevella Lok Sabha member K. Visweswara Reddy and others were present.
