In a ghastly incident, two teenagers allegedly killed a nine-year-old boy at Bibipet village of Kalher mandal of the district.
Though the incident took place a month ago and a case of suspicious death registered, a video cropped up recently pointing out that it was a well-planned murder.
The nine-year-old boy got drowned and died at Bibipet tank on January 14 and police registered a case of suspicious death. He went to the tank along with two other teenagers.
However, a video cropped up in some circles indicating that the nine-year-old boy was done to death by forcibly drowning him in the tank.
While one person was forcing the head of the boy into water, the other was shooting with a cell phone, according to the audio and visuals available in the video. It is suspected that this forcible act led to the boy’s death.
V. Saida, Circle Inspector, Narayanakhed, said the video came to their notice and they will reinvestigate the case.
