Probe ordered into train passing home signal

South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav has ordered a departmental inquiry into the incident of Train No. 57626 Manuguru – Secunderabad Kakatiya Express passing the home signal at Jangaon Railway Station on February 22.

The General Manager personally reviewed the incident and instructed the staff and officials to follow safety procedures meticulously and advised them to look into the system improvements in train operations on a continuous basis.

A team of Junior Administrative Grade officials will undertake a detailed inquiry into the incident and submit the report to the General Manager for further course of action, a SCR press release on Thursday said.
