The police arrested a 65-year-old man for allegedly molesting a minor here on Friday.
The accused, Pochaiah, was sent to judicial remand, while the 9-year-old victim was sent for a medical examination, said Deputy Superintendent of Police K. Prasanna Rani.
Ms. Rani said the accused allegedly lured the minor with chocolates and small money, and committed the offence twice. Based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, a case was registered and the accused was arrested.
