Better comment after seeingour progress: Harish

January 30, 2017 10:52 pm | Updated 10:53 pm IST - SANGAREDDY:

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said that Congress leader and former Union minister P. Chidambaram should have commented on development only after visiting districts like Mahabubnagar and Siddipet instead of reading a script written by someone else.

Addressing a gathering after formally inaugurating newly constructed APJ Abdul Kalam Degree College at Patancheru on Monday, Mr. Harish Rao said the Congress leaders were failing to see the development and they were showing the same darkness to their leaders from Delhi. The Telangana government was committed to development, he said.

Education Minister Kadiam Srihari said the criticism being made by the opposition parties was useless as they had failed to point out any specific problem. “As part of promoting KG to PG education, 255 residential schools were sanctioned this year and BC residential schools will be sanctioned next year. Not only that, we are sanctioning minority residential schools,” he said.

The programme was presided over by local legislator G. Mahipal Reddy.
