100 vehicles seized in search operation

A series of search operations was carried out in several colonies here with cops seizing nearly 100 two-wheelers and 20 autorickshaws, said Superintendent of Police Bhupalpallyon Tuesday.

Around 300 policemen, who conducted the cordon-off-and-search operations in Sundaraiah Nagar, RTS colony, Bus Stand area and Ramachandrapuram locality, confiscated 10 tractors and wood worth ₹1 lakh as they were found without proper documents.

Mr. Reddy has appealed to citizens to be cautious about any suspicious movement in their locality and inform the police.

He also asked them to be wary of unknown people offering valuable items at cheap rates.
