10 students killed as train rams bus in Medak

More than 10 students were killed when a train rammed into a school bus at an unmanned level crossing near Masaipet village of Medak district, about 60 kilometers from here on Thursday morning.

There were more than 30 sudents in the bus belonging to Kakatiya Techno School. The accident spot is near Manoharabad station, railway authorities said. Many students were injured and taken to Hyderabad.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his deep shock over the incident and rushed Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao to the spot.
