1 lakh saplings planted in Malkapur

Deputy Speaker M. Padma Devender Reddy said that any programme taken up by the government would become successful only with active cooperation of the public.

Ms. Padma participated in the Hairtha Haram programme in Malkapur, the village in Toopran mandal adopted by Collector D. Ronald Rose last year, on Friday where 1 lakh saplings were planted. Addressing the villagers, Ms. Padma said that never has saplings plantations been taken up on such a massive scale, and this would change the course of rain in Telangana.
