Teachers’ associations to hold march

Teachers’ associations from across the country are planning to conduct a march to Parliament on April 3 to protest against recent policies regarding higher education.

“There will be a historic demonstration for an inclusive education policy and for better service conditions of the teachers in the country before Parliament on 3rd April, 2018,” said Arun Kumar of the All India Federation of University and College Teachers’ Organisations (AIFUCTO). “Teachers organisations like AIFUCTO, FEDCUTA (Federation of Central University Teachers’ Associations), DUTA (Delhi University Teachers’ Association), etc., have given their consent.”
