The TDP-BJP combine has bagged 20 Assembly seats and was leading in another 85, while YSR Congress emerged victorious in 16 segments and was ahead in another 51 among the 175 constituencies in Seemandhra.

TDP candidate from Bheemili Assembly seat in Visakhapatnam district Ganta Srinivasa Rao defeated his nearest YSRCP rival Karri Seetharam, official sources said.

In Visakhapatnam West Assembly segment, TDP nominee Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu defeated his nearest rival and YSRCP candidate Vamsi Krishna.

Congress seems to be heading for a humiliating defeat as none of its candidates was leading anywhere in Seemandhra.

Jai Samaikyandhra Party of former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy appears to be a no-show, failing to take lead in any segment.
