A youth was murdered allegedly over a love affair he had with a girl of different caste.
Jayakumar (23) of Kovil Mathimangalam village near Kalasapakkam was missing from home since Sunday evening. On sighting his bike and dress on the riverside on Monday morning his father Rajendran grew suspicious of three persons from the village, namely Raja, Raman and Rajendran that they had kidnapped his son and soon he filed a complaint in Kadaladi police station.
Meanwhile, three persons namely Raman, Gopi and Selvanayagam from the village surrendered before Gingee court in this case. Further investigations revealed that they murdered Jayakumar for having a love affair with their relative’s girl and burnt the body in Padur forest. Based on the information, the semi burnt body of the Jayakumar was recovered.
