A week after rumours of the transfer of School Education Secretary T. Udayachandran did the rounds, the State government on Thursday night appointed Pradeep Yadav as Prinicipal Secretary, School Education Department. It retained Mr. Udayachandran as School Education Secretary in-charge of curriculum development, possibly in response to the court insisting on his continuation in the post.
Kumar Jayant, managing director of the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing Development Corporation, has been posted as Principal Secretary to the Food and Consumer Protection Department. Rajendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, Chairman and Managing Director of the Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu is posted as Director of Industries and Commerce.
S. Palaniswamy, Deputy Secretary to the government, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries department, has been posted as Director of Town Panchayats. K. Gopal, Principal Secretary of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, made Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Department. Ashok Dongre has been posted Principal Secretary, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare department. Rajendra Ratnoo has been posted as Commissioner of Disaster Management.
