The police arrested three persons including a woman on charges of murdering her husband here recently.
The arrested were identified as Danakodi (33), Anbalagan (40), Soundarajan (20). Chinnappan (35), a van driver, was found murdered in Pallipalayam on Sunday. Inquiries revealed that Chinnappan had an illicit affair with a woman.

His wife Danakodi, who was living with her parents, sought the help of Pathi to seek revenge on her husband.
On Sunday, when Chinnappan went to the field, Anbalagan, Soundarajan, Murugesan and Pathi beat him to death. Murugesan and Pathi surrendered in a court in Bhavani in Erode district, while the police arrested the three. They were produced in a court in Tiruchengode and sent to Coimbatore Central Prison.
