VIT offers training with assistance

‘Efforts will be made to place successful candidates at the end of programme’

VIT University will be offering a training programme along with assistance for graduates in B.Sc. Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and Bachelor of Computer Applications.

According to a press release, the Universal Higher Education Trust had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aspire Systems (India), Chennai, last year to provide skill enhancement and employment programme called Project Shine in computer applications and information technology to science graduates. The training programme under this MoU is currently going on at VIT.

Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Mathematics, Computer Science and Information Technology and B.C.A. in 2016 and 2017 with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for the training programme. They must have secured at least 60% in class X and XII examinations.

Entrance test

An entrance test followed by an interview will be held for eligible candidates on November 4 at 10 a.m. at VIT University.

Apart from providing assistance during the training programme, efforts will be taken to place the successful candidates at the end of the programme, the release said. For further details about the training programme, candidates can call on phone numbers 0416-2202196 and 81244 54737.

Only registered candidates would be allowed to attend the eligibility test and interview, the release also said.
